Dual Ingredient Resin

Dual Ingredient Resin (also known as dual-component, two-part, or hybrid resin) refers to a specialized class of photopolymer resins used in vat polymerization 3D printing (SLA, DLP, LCD/MSLA) that combines two distinct reactive ingredients or curing systems within a single formulation. Unlike traditional single-component resins (which rely solely on UV/light-initiated radical polymerization of acrylates/methacrylates), dual ingredient resins incorporate two complementary chemistries to achieve superior performance.
